Most side effects are mild and transient, including arthralgia (joint pain) and swelling. Arthrosamid does not cause joint damage and is considered safe for longer-term use.
Other injection options: Arthrosamid is one of several knee injection treatments Mr Chauhan offers. Depending on your symptoms he may instead recommend hyaluronic acid (Ostenil) injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), or a steroid and local anaesthetic injection for faster short-term relief. To discuss which is right for you, book a consultation or review the treatment fees.
